Power You Need for Adventures You Want

The best solution for off-grid adventure.

Solar power provides unmatched flexibillity wherever the road may take you. If you enjoy boondocking, you’ll have a source of energy that can power your RV systems reliably. If you’re spontaneous, you’ll no longer need to reserve a campsite with a full electrical hookup to have a great overnight stay.

Whether it's taking your family on a week-long trip or full time RV living, with our Titan power stations, you'll always have off grid power you can depend on.

Why Choose Solar Power for Your RV?

Whether you're living that nomadic, off-grid lifestyle or just want power for the weekend camping trip, solar panels for your RV can keep you powered up and comfortable.

Safe, Quiet Power

Unlike traditional generators, solar panels are quiet and safe. You can truly immerse yourself in the sounds of nature sounds without the loud noise or fumes of a generator.

Extended Time Boondocking

Solar power gives you the freedom to explore remote and breathtaking locations without worrying about power hookups. No need to stay in a crowded campground. Experience luxury while camping without compromising your power supply.

Low-Maintenance Solution

When it comes to maintenance, solar panels require minimal attention. With solar power, you can bid farewell to the need for fuel, filters, and periodic replacements. It’s a set-and-forget problem solver, allowing you to focus on enjoying your outdoor experience to the fullest.

Renewable Energy

Gas generators have a much shorter life span than solar. They have an average lifespan of 2500 hours of operation. In contrast, solar panels can go over 50,000 hours of use when combined with a portable power kit.

Save Money Long-Term

The initial purchase price of a solar generator is usually higher than an equivalently powerful gas generator. However, solar saves money long-term since sunlight is free where gas and maintenance costs accumulate. Solar generators also qualify for a 26% federal tax credit to offset costs.

Durability

Solar panels and lithium battery banks are durable components that can hold up well to daily use. However, gas engines are more prone to wear and tear over time. Gas generators tend to last 3-5 years, while solar generators can keep performing for up to ten years or more, depending on the system.

What Our Customers Have to Say

I am so very happy to have made this purchase. Not only does the Titan Solar Generator have the most complete and well implemented features I could find on any similar product but the post sale support has been top notch. Multiple e-mail questions have been more than helpful and responded to very quickly.

I loved the first Titan. Then they made one that will run my well pump. I am off grid and this set up is perfect! I highly recommend the Titan 240. I can run my camper and boon dock endlessly with solar panels.

Got this system to provide power to my travel trailer. I have been using it on a couple camping trips and works great. The 30 amp connection for the trailer it a great way for your trailer to go solar without having to drill holes. Customer service was top notch. I never done a YouTube video but feel I should as most people seem to use it for power tools or small cabin off grid. There is so many uses.

Product is great and was easy to install. Thanks Point Zero Energy!

Really impressed with this unit so far. Using it as a permanent off grid set up for a trailer. So I am able to run my entire trailer with this unit. Air conditioner, microwave, water pump, fridge, Tv, dvd player, tablets, and heater. Of course I only got the 500 watt package so I can’t run all those things at once but It sure is nice not running my gas generator all day and all night. Planning on purchasing another battery and additional panels. Hopefully I’ll be able to update my review at a later time.
Also wanted to give some kudos to your customer service top notch very responsive, helpful and understanding.

FAQ

How long a solar generator will last will vary depending on manufacturing processes and the quality of components that are used in the system. When companies advertise the life span of their solar generators they usually advertise the life span of their batteries and don't take into consideration other components like the inverter, charge controllers, and other electronic parts. It's important to research the specifications of these components because they all factor into the life span of the whole system.

First, you need to determine your RV's power needs. RV solar panels are rated in watts, and you'll need to know the wattage (or watt hours) of all the devices you want to run on solar power - think refrigerator, microwave, phones, TV, etc. Basically, for anything that uses electricity in your RV, you'll need to calculate watt use.

Once you know your watts per device used, you then determine how long you will use it daily and multiply it by that use rate to get its daily watt usage or watt-hours. After you have your watt use, you can now calculate how many watts of solar you need and the size of power station you will need.

Yes, it’s absolutely possible to power your RV with 100% solar power. It's important, however, to accurately size your system based on your power needs to ensure you have reliable power. The size of your RV and appliances, the number of electrical gadgets and devices you use, and the amount of time you use these things will determine how much electricity you need to replace with solar power. A small travel trailer with minimal, small appliances will be easier to run completely on solar than a large, luxury fifth wheel with a big residential kitchen. In the case of the fifth wheel, you’ll need to invest more in your solar energy capacity to run fully on solar power.

Even if you don’t convert 100% to solar energy, replacing some of your electricity use with solar power can result in significant savings, benefit to the environment, and more travel flexibility. One of the great features of the Titan Power Station is that you can always add more solar and batteries over time, as your budget allows.

The best solar panels for portable systems for RV's are our easy-to-carry briefcase solar panels. These are composed of two 100w solar panels (200 watts total), connected by a hinge for easy portability. These panels are great for portable systems as they can store easily in a vehicle and moved upon location.

For permanent installations, our 200 watt rigid solar panels are excellent for high efficiency, convenience, and durability.

All our solar panels come with a 25 year warranty.

Note: We DO NOT recommend using flexible solar panels for permanent installation and/or frequent use. They are expensive and do not last.
