Removable / Expandable Battery

This innovative approach will give you greater portability and flexibility in what you can power with your solar generator. By simply adding more battery packs you can expand or replace your batteries quickly and easily. By separating the battery from the other components, you can easily carry each component.

Dual MPPT Charge Controllers

With the Titan, we only used quality, reliable components. For example, most solar generators use cheap, low quality charge controllers that cannot step the voltage down to produce high amps. Most don't allow for voltages over 30-50 volts. The Titan on the other hand, can take up to 145 volts! This means your solar panel wires will have very low amps running through them making them much more efficient (they will be cool to the touch where others will be very hot). It also makes wiring up your solar panels much easier and safer.

2000 Watt Hour Lithium Battery

With a full 2000 watt hours usable power per battery, the Titan battery is one of the largest lithium battery capacities you can find in a portable solar generator. It's nearly four times the capacity of similar systems on the market (with two 2000 watt hour batteries).

Super Fast AC Charging, 400 Watts Standard

We include one powerful 14A AC charger that can charge your battery pack in around 16 hours. You do have an option to add a 25A charger to charge in 9 hours, and two chargers to cut those times in half.

3000 Watt High Efficiency Inverter

Our pure sine wave inverter is extremely powerful- twice as powerful as comparable solar generators! It is also extremely efficient, with a no load power draw of as low as 5 watts, and efficiencies up to 92%! Generally, the larger the inverter the more power it uses just to run- like a large truck burns more gas than a small car. This is comparable to having a 500 hp race car getting better fuel mileage than a geo metro.

External Battery Compatibility

We designed the Titan solar generator to be compatible with nearly every 24V battery type. The Titan Solar Generator uses a lithium Ion battery with a voltage range of 20V to 29.4V (only charged to 29.2V). With this setup, it works perfectly with a 24V LiFePo4 (19.2V to 29.2V) and a led acid battery (20V to 29.2V). As you can see there is virtually no difference between the 3 batteries voltage range, so they can be used together without any changes to the charging profile without damaging any battery.

Note: Any battery connected to the system must be charged to the same voltage as other batteries in the system. See the manual for more instructions.

My husband and I are very, very happy with the kit that we purchased. When there was a minor problem with one of the batteries, sending a shipping label to return it, shipping paid, we were thrilled to get the new replacement battery so quickly. You have been very helpful throughout the entire process, including when we first contacted you to consider purchasing your product. We are pleased with the entire solar system and your customer support. Thank you!

  4. Patrice F.

We have not installed the Solar system yet, so I’m not sure what my rating indicates. We have played with the batteries and they have met every challenge.

There was a mix up on the panel types, but that was handled with speed and professionalism!

Our only concern was the missing Car Charger was not indicated with the delivery and we had to ask for it. Other than that, it has been a positive, responsive, friendly, and professional purchasing experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. After considering all factors, there is no other portable unit on the market which competes with the Titan.

I purchased the Titan 2000 kit, with 4 additional batteries (so, six total batteries). IMPORTANT DETAIL: Point Zero has under-rated, or de-rated the components on the Titan (under promise, over deliver). Most companies over-rate their components (over promise, under deliver). There are multiple tests on YouTube showing this fact. Every aspect of the Titan has been overbuilt and delivers massive, portable power. Because I purchased a total of six batteries, I have 12,000 watt hours of PORTABLE solar power. In an emergency, I can disassemble the Titan, and load into my vehicle within 5 minutes. The unit is completely scale-able and portable. Each 2000 watt battery is like a small suitcase, weighing around 30 pounds each. The unit has a 3000 watt inverter, with a 6000 watt peak. You can push a 3000 watt load (you need at least two batteries), with no temperature or overload issues. This has been demonstrated on multiple YouTube videos. Batteries are Lithium ion, which, if taken care of will last 2000 cycles. After 2000 cycles, they should have at least 80% capacity remaining. It has two MPPT chargers.

Please note the Titan is a 24V unit. I have tested the unit with multiple loads, including:

*5000 BTU window AC unit for all night, 8 hours straight @ 500 watts per hour. Because of the extra batteries I purchased, I still had around 8000 watt hours remaining in the Titan battery bank.
*15000 BTU window AC unit for 5 hours straight @ 1,500 watts per hour. The unit and batteries stayed cool during the entire process. The Titan is a beast. After this test, the unit had around 4500 watt hours remaining in the battery bank. The Titan has powerful cooling fans, which kick on around 900 watts. These are not the typical computer fans found on other solar generators.
*Worked with a large chop saw for hours cutting wood. No other unit on the market can start a large chop saw, much less allow you to work for hours cutting wood with it.

The Titan unit will accept 2000 watt solar charge 1000 watt AC inverter charge…….. AT THE SAME TIME! This means I could recharge at 3000 watts per hour. No other portable unit comes close to these numbers.

The 4 DC car charger outlets are rated to 13.8 Volts! This means any 12V appliance will work flawlessly.
The Titan has 6 AC 110-115 volt outlets, which are well spaced. Many unit crunch the outlets too close together, and make them unusable.
It also has a 30 amp outlet, which can push 2500 watts.

You can’t name another PORTABLE, scale-able unit, with this type of power or features. It doesn’t exist. The Titan is the best portable unit on the market, hands down. As a final note, I have no affiliation with Point Zero. I bought this unit 100% with my money, with no discount from Point Zero.
